Yes.

In '69 the F41 suspension was an option on the SS396, plus any other V8 Chevelle. I think something like 722 Chevelles of all descriptions got it for '69 .

Starting in 1970 every Chevelle SS came with F41. Every SS396, SS454 and beginning in '71 every SS with small block power. F41 was used right through the last 1973 Chevelle SS.

In 1970 through 1972 F41 was optional on non-SS Chevelles, but only with the Turbo-Jet 400 (402). I'm not sure what to tell you about F41 on 1973 non-SS Chevelles. I could go on, but mercifully I won't :boring:

It could have been removed over the last 30+ years. Check to see if you have the rear boxed lower control arms. That will be evidence that the swaybar WAS there.

I agree all 70-SS CARS came with F-41 Suspension. NO 70 SS El Caminos had F-41. Also no Caminos built between 68-72 had a rear sway bay. or boxed rear arms. F-41 was not avaible in 70 for any El Camino. I had Sahli Chevrolet Beaver Falls Pa. Install a rear sway bar on my SS 454 M 22 Camino in June 1970. All Caminos 68-72 had factory air shocks and if you were smart like I was 36 years ago, This was a bad move on my part. The handeling of the camino went to HE!!!. If you ever see a sway bar and boxed arms on a 68-72 Camino. The owner did it not the factory. BOB --ACES- AACA- NCOA
