What is the easiest, best way to install the drip rail moulding(69 hardtop coupe). I know when I removed the stainless it came off in pretty poor condition. Thanks for your help...

I'm pretty sure they sit over the top of the rail, then get "clipped" pushed onto the bottom of the rail. Basically the whole molding clips over the drip rail, no glue on anything special.

I start at the rear of the drip rail and work forward towards the windshield. It should pop on by hand. If it seems to tight you may have to much primer and paint built up on the rail from the paint job. If that's the case you might try sanding down a couple of layers off the drip rail carefully.

Thanks malibu and shovel for your responses, I will start at rear and work forward and see what happens, paint is thick so hope I won't have to sand down.
