I noticed at Ground Up they list different rocker mouldings for the Malibu and SS. What is the difference? And do the moldings come polished or will I have to do that to? Thanks Patrick

The 64 SS rockers have end caps at both the front and rear to connect to the wheel opening mldgs. The 64 Malibu rockers just end without connecting to the WO mldgs, they do not use the end caps. The rockers are distinctly different. They are hard anodized coated, no polishing required. Reproductions will not have the same finish appearance as originals, close but not exact.

OrrieG.. If it helps the El-Camino rocker mouldings are the same as the SS ones... You may be able to find them cheaper because they don't have the SS associated with them...
Good Luck,
Steve

Thanks Steve but I have the opposite situation, I have a Malibu and it seems I keep finding SS trim and wondered if it would be close enough for a daily driver.
