I'm replacing the drain plugs in my 70. What do I use as a sealer? When I removed them they had the tar like seal on top and a bondo like subtance beneath.

I am asuming you mean the plugs in the floor pan that close the holes used for body fixturing. I would use RTV or vinyl caulking that comes in those tubes that go in a caulking gun.

Body seam sealer works well, too.
