Hell I was wondering if any one has switched to a internal 1 wire altenator in their chevelle.Is this a major switch or is it easy to do.Any info or sites you can direct me to on this subject would be appreciated..thanks

here are some links and I would go to a 3 wire setup and not a 1 wire.

well that is the only one I found right now. just do a search. Keep reading and you will see why you should go with a 3 wire and not a 1 wire.:thumbsup:

I bought new engine and forwad lamp harnesses for my 69 from M&H Electric Fabricators, at www.wiringharness.com . You can order the harnesses modified for internally regulated alternator, HEI ignition, and/or electric choke. It's really a top quality product and I couldn't be happier with it.

Most single wire alternators have 2 terminals under a cap that can be accessed to allow towards using a 3 wire configuration. So a single wire would be just fine if you need that sort of thing.
