Anybody ever powder coat over J&B Weld? That stuff is usually bullet proof on anything anyone uses it for.

How did the finish surface turn out?

Doesn't powder coat need a static charge to cover/cling to the metal? How will the JB Weld get this charge unless it conducts as much as the base metal?
I don't have experience in powder coat but don't think it would cover the same as the base metal.

Itworks. Just make sure the surface is clean. Wipe with MEK or like just before application of JB. Then, cure using a box or bag over it with an old hair drier. Just need to cure above 115 deg. F. Sand down as needed and pwoder coat.
