was wondering, i am in the process of replacing all the windows in my 70SS and was looking at the 1/4 windows, i noticed they dont have nuts on them like the front side windows, to remove and replace do you have to take the whole track assembly out????? HELP would be appreciated, steel :confused:

Remove the stops, remove window guide attaching bolts. Then sneak guide out thru access hole. Tilt glass to inside of car and lift out. Getting the roller in and out of the channel can be a bugger. Not enuff room for my fat hands. Like anything else, once you do one, the other side will be easier. Fisher Body Manual comes in real handy here.

its pretty easy all the bolts do have to come out but its simple. storm
