If I decodded my '65 Convertible correctly, it was originally Tahitian Turquoise, code LL, with an aqua interior. Does anyone have any pictures of Tahitian Turquoise or the aqua colored interior? TIA

No closeups, but I have some pictures from approx 35 yr. ago of that colcor on my EC. I can get them next weekend (9-10 Mar) if you don't get any in the meantime.

Can someone point me to some as well. I have a 65 Malibu/SS that is coded that color with white interior. I'm trying to decide if I want to go with that or not!

Thanks to those who sent me pics. I was reading the Super Chevy Chevelle Special and they had a '65 Malibu that was Tahitian Turquoise, which rung a bell, so I double checked and confirmed that mine was Tahitian Turquoise. Unfortunately, the magazine's pictures were rather dark. I'm going to try to make to SCS Pomona to see if I can see one in person.

The guy who painted my truck said he has taken some of the old color formulas and changed them to base color clearcoat. If I wanted he would work on splitting the formula up and spray a test panel. I did see some 60s colors as bcc and they look even better than befor. If you swing by a paint shop they can mix a pint and put it in a spray can give you the color without the drive. http://www.chevelles.com/forum/smile.gif

Thanks Dave. I think I'll do it as I get closer to paint (hopefully by summer). I'll be spending the next few weeks om my BB swap.
