My guess would be Autumn Gold. I had a 70SS brand new in 1969 which was Champagne Gold and it was lighter than this one.

Haha, you guy's make me laugh. Just made $800 this weekend from graduation but I still can't afford to buy you a tv. All the money is going to go into tool fund for my Snap-On's for college. So is that Mohave or Autumn? I want the paint code for 72 for that color.

It might be burnt orange metallic code 62. That color is very hard to capture on film correctly. At dusk it looks copper. Check the link in signature, I have a Malibu in that color.

Doug, you are right, it's very hard to capture this color on film. My 72 is Mohave Gold and looks different in different light. But you can judge for yourselves:

Select your year, then paint codes. To me, it looks like the 1970 Nugget Gold. Your mileage may vary.

I've got a 72 malibu that's mohave gold. That color looks just a bit lighter than it.
