Don_Lightfoot Jun 1st, 02, 11:01 PM My guess would be Autumn Gold. I had a 70SS brand new in 1969 which was Champagne Gold and it was lighter than this one.
Do I win the color TV http://www.chevelles.com/forum/smile.gif

chevl71 Jun 4th, 02, 1:18 PM It might be burnt orange metallic code 62. That color is very hard to capture on film correctly. At dusk it looks copper. Check the link in signature, I have a Malibu in that color.

Bill's_72_SS Jun 4th, 02, 3:55 PM Doug, you are right, it's very hard to capture this color on film. My 72 is Mohave Gold and looks different in different light. But you can judge for yourselves:

Select your year, then paint codes. To me, it looks like the 1970 Nugget Gold. Your mileage may vary.
malibu man Jun 4th, 02, 4:09 PM I've got a 72 malibu that's mohave gold. That color looks just a bit lighter than it.
