Just wanted some insight on using lead or a plastic filler, where I have welded the sail panel to the roof. It was originaly lead, but was wondering if I could get away with filler. Easier to use.

I know alot of bodymen now use a product called Duraglass. It's green and when it cures it's very hard and sands out really smooth. Good stuff. I don't think anyone leads anymore.

By all means use plastic filler. Lead is very dangerous to use and hard to work with, and plus I dont think you can buy the same stuff as in quality wise. The brand of filler I use and recommend is Rage or Rage gold made by evercoat. Both are top notch fillers, in my book and in others...Eric
