Is the el camino like a chevelle where you might find the build sheet on top of the gas tank? My seats been redone in the past and the door panels have been removed so I looked there. its a bench seat car, is there anywhere else I can look? I have the owners manual for it, just thought the build sheet would top it off. Jim

El Camino rolled down the same assembly lines intermixed with Chevelle's. It a Chevelle model, just different body style like a station wagon, sedan or convertible.

the only full build sheets I've ever seen for 68 chevelle's were in EL Camino's
then there have only been a couple of them at that !!! as far as I know the one that have been found came from Freemont CA built EL Camino's ... In both case's I know of the sheet was found taped to the vaper barrier under the drivers door panel . I have seen LOTs of broadcast sheets.those little computer slips that tell .. seat or trim options.. some say they're buildsheets. as the car was built with em ;) lets just say it wasn't a peice of paperwork that was ever ment to have the Importance that it is given today :eek: it was just a work order that got left in the car Sometimes..... & IF your very lucky you'll find it !! :hurray:
