I'm installing re-pop front inner wheel wells on my 67 SS with new dust shields. My original wells have a rubber insulator attached to the rear side that cushions the wheel well from the frame. Dealers like Ausley's and ground Up do not sell these nor seem to even understand what I am talking about. Does anyone know where to buy replacements?

I think this is what you're looking for. Chevrolet calls it a SEAL, SKIRT TO FRAME. Group 8.154, part #3899592. The link above is good; click on the 64-77 link, then 'Order Parts' and type in the part number above. This look like what you need?

They're $10 for the pair.

I took a photo of the passenger side on my El Camino. Might give you some idea.

I used to have mine attached..MIA
