Should the seams be filled in on the tops of the quarters on a 70 convertible? You know, the area under the back glass between the top and trunk.

Well Tom, don't take this to the bank as I am by no means an expert on this. In the late 60's (70???) I believe there were no seams as the water would flow down the outside of the convertible top and into the drain gully which flows to the bottom of the quarters. Hardtops and other models needed the seam to run water from the back glass into the trunk channel for draining out the back. Hopefully somebody else can confirm this.

That is what I thought. I just bought a 70 for the dealership and the seams were filled and I couldn't remember how it should be.
