Well I got the trunk sand blasted and found a few pin holes,....imagine my suprise. Will ALL METAL work here and if so what is the procedure, prime first or apply it directlly to the metal and then prime? Ive tryed my mig but I just make it worse, guess the metal is kinda thin here. Realy dont want to cut and patch my welding is not up to par and it would look real bad. Thanks

If its just a few pinholes, then I'd use por 15 epoxy putty, and a couple coats of por 15. No primer is necessary with por 15, just make sure the surface is clean and follow their directions. Here's their web address. www.por15.com (http://www.por15.com)
Good luck!

If you are going to "Spatter Paint" for the final coat. I would have your spatter paint ready to go. POR-15 first as recommended and before it completely dries, (dry to the touch but still has a little finger drag, see directions on can), spray your spatter paint. The spatter paint is water-base and will stick real well to the POR-15 and help it cure. Note: because the spatter paint is water-base it is not very durable. I recommend top coating with a semi-gloss clear.

If it's that thin I might think about dinging them in a bit and then filling with fiberglass. It would make it a bit stronger. And besides the pinholes are from rust right. You can bet theres a few more really close just waitning to rear their ugly lil heads sometime just after the car is painted.

This tip works really well for filling holes you can't seem to weld up or get to from behind.
