I have a 69 ss When I bought it the front filler panel that is behind the bumper and under the grill was flat black is that correct or is it suppose to be the car color? I know the filler in the back below the deck lid is suppose to be flat black but have never heard anything about the front filler panel. Thanks for any help

I just learned that the filler panel below the grill on a 69 ss is suposed to be semi black......I learned this after I put my car together and was at a car show in Wheelersburg OH and saw 2 different 69 ss's with the black filler panel and asked the ? , one of the cars appears to be an unmolested 69 ss , garnet red with black vinyl.
