I want to install an inspection cover on my bellhousing. 67 Malibu with a 1970 396, with muncie 4 speed.

Checked previous threads and found someone said this GM part number (3843943) fits. I checked gmpartsdirect.com and they have it but with no description for BB or SB or anything else.

Question: Big Block / Small Block bellhousings (inspection cover size) all the same? Any difference for BB 10.5 or 11 inch flywheels?

Or is there just one size fits all?

You will need the casting number of your bellhousing to determine the correct cover. Also search DZAUTO post on bellhousings 101 A-Z.

Brand new inspection covers are available from Ground Up, both in the 10.5 inch and 11 inch size. The 11 inch size fits my 621 bell perfectly.
