A friend of mine purchased a fule tank from paddock. (67 chevelle SS) But they don't have the 3/8 sender assembly. Any thoughts? If he locates one some where else will it fit the tank the same? Or should he send the whole works back? they have the 5/16 unit. thanks.

All sending units for your year will fit the mounting hole . If you get a 3/8 unit it should fit no problem.
