I am just getting ready to paint my 69 Chevelle back to original (it was cortez silver) and was wondering if the cowl at the base of the windsheild is painted satin black or the color of the car. I also have the same question about underneaith the hood.

Can someone tell me what's original?

Mine is black. Every one that I have seen was black as well.
