While disassembling the doors of our 2 door Malibu, the door glass mounts in a channel that rides on top of the regulator. This channel is just flopping around inside the door now, not welded to the regulator. It also isn't stuck to the bottom of the glass anymore. What's the deal with this thing. It's pretty deteriorated even though it was galvanized.
Here's my questions:
A. Can you buy just this piece?
B. How id it attached to the regulator?
C. How is the glass "stuck" to it?

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

a. dont know. don't think you can get it without the regulator?

b. welded // spot welded

c. ther is a urethane product simular to the urethane that they glue in windshields with that will glue the glass to the chanel you speak of. Might call auto city classic and see if they can help. i bought a complete set of glass and power windows for my old girl from them

Same thing happened to my 67. You have to pull the door glass out, knock the track off the bottom, and weld the track back together. Which side do you need? I believe I have a spare passenger side.
