just got my 67 marina blue from the paint shop a retired body man painted this baby for me he had to leave out of town due to a family illness i have just wetsanded this baby with his instructions and buffed it with i really dont know what it is but its a whit 3m product then i waxed it it looks great but i can still see some of the wetsanding scratches in the paint when the light shines on it a certain way ?? is what do i use to get these fine scratches off with my painter wont be back for 2 weeks as always thanxs for the help

I hope you wet sanded with 1500 or 2000 grit. First buff with 3M Microfinishing compound (brown stuff) and a wool pad, then buff with 3M Finesse It II (white stuff) and a foam pad. I assume it's a urethane paint or clear coat with hardener.

or you can buff it another time according to the 3M instructions which should level all the scratches out the second or third pass... Buffing is a very fine artform.. and alot of practice/experience pays big time with this part of the process.. Hopefully you wet sanded with 1500 or better paper too avoid deep scratches.. if not you can go lighter and wet sand again to minimise scratches then buff.. but be careful not too go through the clear...
