Is it driveable, at least? Not a big deal if it isn't, but there is SUCH fun in driving them around, no matter what the condition... What are your plans for it?

yeah, it's running. i actually drove it the two hours back to san diego from reseda when i bought it. and, as i'm sure you all know, i felt like the king of the world while driving it. i haven't decided if i want to go full frame off yet but definately first priority is to make it safe (suspension, new brakes, etc) then move on to the fun stuff like swapping in a big block. in the meantime here's some pics....

I'd just drive it awhile. till the new wears off at least. Cause, when you start the frame off you won't be driving it for a long time. Nice car

That interior looks great! I dont mind body work, but I hate working on shabby interiors, it gets expensive fast. Good find, have fun!

IMO, you better off doing this before you do any restoration work. That way, you'll be able to get it the way you want it before you do the finish work. It's difficult to change things on a nice, detailed car without dinging something or scratching it up.

It's really a beautiful car, even in present condition, isn't it. So imagine when you eventually..... mmm! Nice interior especially.

I bet you find LOTS of excuses to get out and ride around!!

That is a fine looking ride, you should be proud of it.

Also you say you're in the navy, I would like to thank you for your time in the service, taking care of us folks at home. http://www.chevelles.com/forums/images/icons/icon14.gif
