I'm looking to get a copy of the backside of a 67 chevrolet PPG Ditzler paint sheet that shows the interior code translation to paint numbers. (I've been told that's where I need to get it)
Does anyone have this?
I'm spoecifically looking for interior code 738 and what the paint code is for that code.
Thanks!!

There is a website with scans of these paint chip pages but I'm unable to find it now. I think the URL might have had "autobody" in it???
Try doing some searches on the popular search engines like Altavista and Yahoo.
Oh yeh, if you find it, please let me know. I need to see the one for 1966. smile.gif

Thanks. I've been told that the back side of that sheet (might be wrong) has the paint codes for the interior.
That is, I have a 738 interior and I'm trying to get the paint codes that are needed to spray the interior.
Any ideas if this is correct and how to find the correct interior paint codes for a 738 interior?

That's the site I was thinking, thanks Lance. They aren't showing the back side of that sheet but the interior codes will be on it.
I just spotted one of these sheets on ebay for a 1966 so you might find one for '67 sometime. Have you checked the paint suppliers in your area? They should have these old books stashed away somewhere.

What's interesting is they do show the backs of sheets for other yrs... look at 68, 69, 70, etc.
Maybe they are not on the 67's??

I can't find a interior code 738/ but there ia a 728 dark blue-dupont#9395-rinshed-mason#67B29- ditzler13383. If this is not your color let me know I have the the codes for all colors from the chevell restoration guide. good luck!
I think Year One had this information in their printed catalog (at least they did a couple of years ago). I took the numbers from there and had my local PPG paint store mix me a PPG equivalent. The PPG shop had some cross reference books as well. Maybe a local shop can help you? I don't have my YO catalog with me here at work.

OK, I was mistaken. The cross referrence I was referring to was in Chevelle SS Restoration Guide by Paul Herd. For 1967 code 728 (Dark Blue) it lists:
Dupont pn 9395-L (60% gloss) and pn 9373-L (0% gloss).
Rinshed-Mason pn 67B29 (60% gloss) and pn 67B28 (0% gloss).
Ditzler pn 13383 (60% gloss) and pn 13365 (0% gloss).
The 0% gloss is used at the top of the dash, the 60% gloss is used everywhere else.
Your paint shop shouldn't have a problem mixing some up for you.
