I am in the process of restoring a 67 Chevelle SS396. I need the correct "short water pump" brackets and pulleys. What is the cheapest source for these ? I don't mind NOS, repro is ok. I have also heard that those cars that came with P/Steering had a "remote" fluid reservoir ?

Yes the SS car had a remote fluid reservoir and a different pump because of clearance. This is another set of parts I will have to purchase also. I have the basic non-SS pump at the moment :(

Any idea where I could get a picture of this set-up ?

The early BB has no reservoir/fill cap, but rather has a 3/4" hose nipple

Try our site sponsor, Ground Up... They have most of what you need... Heres a catalog page with the PS setup and WP pulleys...
