I'm putting fenders on my 1964 convert and I want them to have the correct 327 emblems. Can somebody post a picture of what they look like and where they would go ? I would be very greatful.
Is this info in an assembly manual ?

Can you make a template from the old fenders?

The information should be in the assembly manual. Sorry, I can't help you directly, I don't have a '64.
I have absolutely nothing to go on.
The car had no fenders when I got it.
I don't have a body assembly manual, although I would buy one in a heartbeat if I could find one.
The fenders I bought are from a 1964 El Camino, but it was originally a 283, so it has completely different emblems, or so I think ???? Just a small "V".
The El Camino had a 327 in it, but I don't think it was original.
Unless........does the 1964 El Camino with a 327 have just the small "V" on the front fender??
I just need to see a picture of an original 1964 327 fender w/emblem.
Then I need measurements of where the emblems go exactly. Somebody must have a digital camera and a 1964 body assembly manual.
I'd really appreciate it.

Nate, the "V" emblem is the correct one, and from what you say, I'd suspect you have them already, in the correct holes. My '64 El Camino is was originally a 327/M20 car, and the emblem goes on the fender in back of the front wheel well, below the body line a couple of inches, centered in the space between the wheelwell and the door. Specifically, the assembly manual lists it as 2 holes, 1.05" below the center body line, 1.10" spacing between the holes, and they are 7/32" diameter holes. It doesn't list how far from the rear edge of the fender, though.
Hope this helps,

The Flaged emblem goes in the same place as the V emblem. Nowhere on the body does it say 327. Hope this helps.

Assembly manuals are available from almost all Chevelle parts vendors. They are usually a 300-350 page photocopy document. I think you think you are looking for an original GM shop manual. What you need is the assembly manual. They run about $20 and are readily available.
