Football is here again, and last night I heard an interview with Seahawk
DE Joe Tafoya on the radio. He just bought a '71 Chevelle, black with silver stripes. Has a Corvette 327 in it. It sounded like he would have talked more about it but the interviewers wanted to move on to more boring subjects.
He lives in Redmond so I'll keep an eye out for it during the off season.
Maybe he'll join the forum. Now if he does you guys in Pittsburg take it easy on him.

Hey Bisjoe,
I missed the interview but after reading your post I thought I'd drop Joe an email. I hope I'm not overstepping my bounds or anything. I figured it's no different than telling every Chevelle and Elky owner I meet about the site.
Here's the email in it's entirety.
Hey Joe!
I heard you own a '71 Chevelle with a 327 'vette motor!
If you are interested in all things Chevelle, you should check out www.Chevelles.com, then click forums. We're called Team Chevelle.
The site has been written up several times in different car magazines for the members level of knowledge. Dave Freiburger, Editor and Chief of Hot Rod, Popular Hot Rodding, and Car Craft regularly comes onto the site to ask our opinions on issues.
We'd love to have you as a member (paid or unpaid) I feel the info and help I recieved in regards to my project made my membership the best money I've spent on my car so far.
My I.D. on the site is 66 Buick Special. I missed your recent interview but another local member that lives in Sammamish brought your Chevelle to our attention. His I.D. on the site is Bisjoe. He currently owns a '72 ElCamino.
I live in Lynnwood and am building a '66 Buick Special with a .030 350 Chev in it.
Anyway, hope to hear from you! I hope you have a great season!!!

Hopefully it gets to him and he joins, that would be really cool. I have no connections with the Seahawks other than making nameplates for their locker doors, and that's a wholesale job so the orders go through a third party. I'm glad you had his e-mail. It's nice to see a pro athlete going for classic muscle instead of the typical Escalade or Hummer with 24" wheels.
