i recently got a custom lunati cam as per one of harolds specs. i honestly cannot find the numbers for the cam that were with it when i bought it, but on the fromt of the cam by the timing set is tf80/uf16 20006 111 and on the back by the distributor drive gear is 115665 261275. i know i F-ed up. i am already for beating myself up for losing it. but i would like to get some new valve springs before i go to put the cam in. it is a solid lifter cam , and i think it is a 287. http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1&part=CCA%2D939%2D16&N=700+115&autoview=sku

my question is are these springs going to be too extreme or should they work.

thanks a million

I seem to remember this is a SBC, and if so, those springs are way too big.
Get the 985-16s, kset them in at 1.800" for about 130 lbs on the seat, about 325 lbs open.

These are 1.437" dia springs.
