Arrgh!

Son was playing dodgeball yesterday at church youth group-got hit in the face, broke the nosepiece on his glasses.

College aged daughter 'had' a job lined up when she quit her current job. "lined up" job fell thru-now needs $270/mo car insurance paid up (my name's on the car too).

Washer just made a bunch of noise and foul smelling fumes and quit running. Took the belt off, motor made same noises & foul fumes (worse than the aftermath of a taco night!). Looks like the motor's shot.

Job "selected" me to be a beta test site-means a bunch of additional work & headaches that I really don't need right now.

Still haven't gotten the Chevelle to the trans shop to fix the 2nd gear sticking problem. Looks like it'll be waiting a few more months.

I'm out of rum!

Oh yeah, tomorrow is my 41st birthday. Whoppeee :(

Just had to vent a bit.

Happy Birthday...(?)

They say "They come in three's"... so you're 2/3rds into next year! One more and you've got a freebie during #42....!

Passed the 41 a year ago, so a few tidbits of advise:

You should know by now (at 40) to NEVER trust a fart.
Take heed to "The mind is willing, but the flesh is weak".
It takes twice as long to heal as it did at 20.
Viagra ads start getting your attention.
It is now normal to get up at 2:30am to pee.
Make an effort to make the last 41 better than the 1st.
As long as you're seeing the grass from the green side it IS a good day!

Whatever.. make the best of your day. I just sprouted a new shock of gray hair... my "little girl" finishes her 1st week of High School tomorrow!

How about more detail on that Andy? I just had my 63rd birthday a couple of weeks ago.

If you don't count not being able to think, slow reflexes, and no longer looking at the Viagra ads, being 63 is great.

Happy birthday Sid, you kid.:hurray:

Sid, Happy Birthday, brother. Bought my new washer/dryer about 3 weeks ago. It didn't stop there, though. Had to dig out a bunch of car and bike parts from one of my storage spaces, and renovate the space back into the laundry room it was originally, 36 years ago. Over the years, it had become a kitchen on an extension of the house, then storage for me. Good news is, it's done, and the wife is happy she doesn't have to go outside anymore to do laundry. Well, it appears that way. Or seems it should be. She hasn't said much, or tested it out. But she will like it. I'm sure. I keep telling myself, she'll be happy doing the laundry there. .... :D

Get yourself some more rum, put on some Rush, and relax, Sid. It's Friday.

Happy Birthday Sid
I remember when I hit the big 41
Now I'm 52, 2 stents in my veins, a torn hamstring, and minus 1 kidney.
