what is the correct color for the ss grille in 70 the repos are black and the gm's are grey or silver.do you have to paint the gm grille. thanks for the help.

I know the SS grills are supposed to be black on the inset, and the area around the outside and through the center are supposed to be body color. I'm sure someone on here can tell you the exact degree of black, cus I don't know.

here is a pic of my non-SS grill that I modified to go on my SS clone. I bought the chrome moulding and I painted the center and edges Cortez silver to match the body. Of course, I started by painting the entire stock grey grill with gloss black. graemlins/thumbsup.gif
