: Anyone ever used LEGENDARY MOTOR CARS for bodywork?
riskyvt Feb 27th, 03, 2:10 PM Researching all options, I stumbled upon Legendary Motor Cars and checked out their website. Just finished a 20 minute call with a really nice guy, didn't "talk over" me with what he thought I should be doing, etc...basically listened to what I wanted, then let me know their process, timeframe & options available to a customer.
Has anyone ever used their services for rust repair, panel replacement, paint job? This is the shop of Dream Car Garage fame in Ontario Canada.
CDN SS Feb 27th, 03, 2:56 PM Assume you were talking to Jason Roberts ...I would highly reccomend them once they understand what type of job you want you wont be disapointed ...... they are extremely thorough and professional .... A NY resident just had a body off 66 Aztec Bronze Chevelle done ...... awesome!! Good value if you have US dollars to spend.
riskyvt Feb 27th, 03, 3:08 PM I spoke to David Griffiths, but he did mention the shop managers name...Jason. They talk a good game, its good to hear they do excellent work too.
66 MYSTERY CHEVELLE Feb 27th, 03, 3:16 PM Ditto to what Bill said!
riskyvt Feb 27th, 03, 3:24 PM You have first hand experience with their shop Mike?
66 MYSTERY CHEVELLE Feb 27th, 03, 3:40 PM No, just have known people that had., including the guy Bill mentioned from NY.
Peter F. Feb 27th, 03, 11:49 PM If you don't watch the show, the work they show from that shop on Dream Car is just amazing.
The metal working man there once stated that he prefers to make his own repair panels because the aftermarket patch panels are not good enough. Then, he made a piece that was way better than the patch panel they had for comparism to prove his point.
If I had the coin I'd definately put that place on my short list of shops.

gb70 Feb 27th, 03, 11:57 PM If I am not mistaken our US dollar exchange rate is still strong in Canada. I want to say that you are looking at 30-40 an hour shop rate. Try to get that same quality at that price in the states. I have never used them but once called a couple of years ago and was impressed with what they offer.
Did you catch last years project on that Hemi Challanger they restored? Very nice work!
