Hello everyone:
Bought this car in 1986 for $500 at a local swap meet. It's a 138 car that someone decided to put a "moon roof" in. After 15 years, I finally found a suitable donor car for the roof skin and decided to get to work.

This is how the car looked when we brought it home in the spring of 1986.http://memimage.cardomain.net/member_images/2/web/2450000-2450999/2450004_9_full.jpg

A close up of the prior owner's "craftsmanship".

After sitting in storage for the next 15 years, I found a replacement roof skin.

And with some reservation, began cutting off the old skin.

Oh yes, the prior owner cut all of the roof bracing out as well. Had to replace it.

And this is pretty much how it sits today. Can it be made to look right? I think I have a better chance now than I did before.

This is going to be a lot of work ;)
