cares Apr 9th, 01, 5:41 AM I have window scratches approximately 2" by 6" on my windshield.. Do you have any ideas how to remove them? other than replace the windshield? The PO said that he got stuck in an ice storm and had to scrape the ice off with a piece of metal bar! I used a set up from Eastwood. It included a round buffing wheel and a jar of powder. The instructions said to mix up a little poweder and water and wheel the scratches out but to be careful not to put too much heat into the window. It also said that id you polish too much in one spot, you can effect the optics of the window (ie stuff will look distorted) They also said that if you can hook a fingernail on the scratch it is probably too deep to fix.
