Anyone seen this? I borrowed it from our office manager. French flimmaker Claude Lelouch put a camera on the front of his Ferrari 275 GTB and drives through Paris. It's pretty nuts.

cool video, yet incredibly stupid.....one mistake, one wrong move and he kills how many innocent people as well as himself.....guy has a fast car, but is very slow in the common sense department.

rumour has it he got arrested the first time he showed it in public.

While he appears to be going quite fast, and it certainly looks like it was filmed at actual speed, I suspect he wasn't going as fast as it looks.

You see him passing other cars at a supposed 140 mph, but he isn't wizzing by them like you'd think he would be at that speed. Also, with the camera that close to the ground, the ground would appear to be going by faster than it is, and thus make it appear the car was going much faster. He also takes a few tight turns without slowing down all that much. While the Ferrari was certainly a great car, it might not have been THAT great.

There are also rumors he dubbed the engine and tire sounds as well.

He's always been pretty tight lipped about the film, so I guess we'll never know for sure.

One of the other rumors I've heard is that it was really a current (at the time) F1 driver behind the wheel

I'd think that someone could pretty easily figure out the speeds by measuing the route and comparing that to the elapsed time.

Regardless, it's pretty cool.
