Today I removed the orignal 30 yr.old rear shelf package tray.It was pretty ratty and dry rotted etc. found a 4x6 area thats really rusted almost thru, so I guess I'll have to cut it out and weld in some fresh metal. The sound deadener in the sail panel area came out semi intact, but is real dry and brittle. I checked some of my parts catalogs to see if I could find replacements for these items ,but had no luck.Anyone out there found a supplier for these? Thanks in advance. I did find some material at Oshkosh for airplanes, this material is light weight and has a heat shield backing. If this would work let me know I'll get some Info for you.

3M and a number of others make a replacment you can get at paint stores. NAPA auto parts has it, but I can't remember the number. It comes in sheets about a foot square, I use it nearly every day at work in body repair. I even stick it in new doors and door skin jobs were there wasn't any. Nothing makes the door sound more solid that that stuff.
