what is a fair price for a pair of NOS front fenders for a 1970 chevelle? I see prices all over the place right now there is a ad in the for sale section $1600? in the new hemmings someone is selling a pair of fenders,a pair of inner fenders [steel],and a pair of headlight doors all NOS, only $10,000 give me a break ad sayes serious buyers only no kidding who is going to call him?

I never figured out why some places are $500 or more for 70-72 fenders. Ive seen GM stamped ones for high $300's and That scared me off. I got some from National Parts Depot for $259 per side and the frieght which wasnt bad. These panels are near perfect. I have zero complaints.

the front fenders are not the same for the 1970 as they are for 71 and 72 I am not talking about goodmark fenders I am asking about NOS front fenders the parts houses don't have the NOS ones

Well, there will never ever be any more GM NOS fenders. How ever many are out there is how many are left. I would say fair price is whatever you can get someone to pay........

I think the fair price, is whatever you want to pay. Because there are no more NOS fenders at your local chevy dealership, people can ask for as much money as they want, but it doesn't mean that person is going to have a customer.

I think 500.00 or 600.00 for each is about the cheapest I found when I was looking quite a while ago.

I finally found a complete car that new NOS fenders had just been put on so I bought the car, switched fenders and resold it.

I just bought a pair for $900 I thought that was a pretty good price

$900 is an excellent price I paid $254 ea from Chev dealer in 89

Be careful on the headlight doors the El Camino and Wagons are different than a Chevelle.

thats why I always use the part# for verifing the right parts some of them are hard to tell when you do not have the car in front of you
