Hey all my car is almost ready to go to the body shop and im wondering if you guys painted the car complete then installed all the goodies....door reg's, windows,cat whiskers,front wheel wells,etc. or did you paint the jambs and all openings, then assemble then paint the whole car? thanks Ralph.

I like to put all that stuff on after it's painted. It keeps all the overspray off of the parts. Of course you have to be very careful not to scratch your new paint job.

also make sure to bring home a little paint from the paint shop. from my experience anyway, you always will nick something while installing the trim and other misc. items and need to touch up the paint.
