I am looking for the hood latch piece that attaches to the underside/front of the hood. I have the release assembly pieces that are behind the grille. I am replacing the fiberglass cowl hood that is secured with hood pins on my 67 SS, with a reproduction SS hood. But I need to latch piece to make it all work. I have checked all of the catalogs from the popular places (SS396, Year One, NPD, OPG, True Connections, and a couple of others). None of them have it. I was even told it isn't reproduced. I need a little help here. I would take a good used piece if I have to do that.

Are you talking about the piece with the spring and and pin that mounts in the center of the hood? I have two if you need one.
