Has anybody here had a 71 re-painted this color lately ? If so, how did the new paint color compare with the original ? If it was a very close match, what paint brand and mix was used. I am getting ready to get my 71 painted and have had a couple of test panels done with a couple of different brands. They all seem to be too Orange and too metallic compared to the original paint which actually tended more towards Brown. My car has been garage kept since new and the lower half has very little fading so I have a good area to compare to.
