Some one was asking about building an Olds 442 "ElCamino" a while back, I just found this in a "Muscle Car Motion" Magazine. Sorry for the poor quality scan, the mag actually has a super high quality paper for photos.

Not all of you will agree with me that this is a neat car. But whether you like the idea of "reusing" an ElCamino for such a project or not, you must agree it is beautifly done.

The car is amazing, it rocks. Course am a big time closet fan of buicks and the 70 GS being my favorite.

I cant even imgane the amount of planning and time that it took to make that car a reality. I love it when someone tries something different.

I remember you Martinsr once talking about a 65 buick elcamino car, hows that?

Eric, I have mentioned the desire to do one, but I have no such car. This GS/X is damn cool isn't it?

I built a 67 GTO El Camino. I would do it again if I could find some cheap donor cars. People walk right by it and don't notice anything until you say something. Either it looks like it belongs or nobody cares LOL.

There used to be a '65 Tempest/pick-up around here. Guy used a 4dr sedan cut off at the back of the front doors and a stepside short p/u box. Had a GTO hood and grille. Looked better than it sounds.

There's a guy here in MD that did the same thing with a mid-70s Monte Carlo, complete with the wide/flared 1/4 panels. Its a damned work of art! If I can find a pic I'll post it
