I'm working on th bottom of my pass door.Have to fill(weld) couple trim holes but after removing all the paint from door I've found a few small pin holes of rust.I'v cleaned the inside (pinch welds)and have coated it with POR15 so the inside should be sealed off...A friend(bodyman) told me to use Allmetal over the pin holes.. ??? is.Should I use some "wash primer" on the clean metal then put the Allmetal down or vice versa?
I have some "wash primer" or some "2k urathane primer" or some "PPG DPLF Epoxy"...These are some real some areas so I'm not talking about spreading it like a skim coat...

Thanks for the Help,
Lookin forward to CB03 smile.gif

I would use the self etch /wash primer, followed by the epoxy.Let the epoxy harden up good, then sand it without breaking through then do your filler work, followed by 2k.Epoxy is the only type of primer you can put filler over.So this way you have the etch on the bare metal, the epoxy over the etch, and the filler on the epoxy.
