Any opinions on this radiator? removed from an original L78 375 horsepower CHEVELLE Item number: 230022855163. Been looking for a while. Does it look like it is the correct one? Thanks

100% Incorrect. I emailed seller and told him in a nice polite way. Also, there were 3099 66 SS L-78 cars.

Filler hole is in wrong position in this one.. it may have come out of a 66 375hp car, but it was not original to that car.. No way~

Buyer Beware

Mike

Here are two pics from my L78 ragtop. I have spoken to both previous owners and both confirm that the radiator has never been changed.
The finger guard has been broken off. It is a non-heavy duty 4 core radiator.
The lower tank has BP embossed and the upper tank has UN embossed.
I am not sure what these codes mean. I would appreciate any help.

Take a look at the radiator cap, this is an ultra rare high pressure radiator cap that was special ordered by the original owner from K-mart

How do I resize these photos?

You obviously don't have a real L-78 then. ;) :D

I just purchased a radiator for mine and I found that the only ones that offer a truly original style radiator is OPG (or the closest to it).

Also, if cost is a factor, they are considerably cheaper than an aluminum version.
This isnt to disparage the aluminum radiators, in fact, if I were to look at aluminum radiators, Alumitech is the one I would look at..but I prefer the original look.
