This may be old news, but I have been looking around for a quick ratio steering box for my '71 Chevelle. I have read many prior posts that talk about using other cars' boxes and how to adapt them because Chevy never made a quick ratio box for this car.

I happened to ask my local AutoZone and they offer an OEM box with 12.7:1 ratio for less than $300. Supposedly no mods to the linkage or column. I have ordered it and will let you guys know how mod-free it really is. Just an FYI.
