Hey,...

I'm just getting ready to do a paint job on another one of my cars and decided it was time for a new spray gun. I've been using a regular sears spray gun that seemed to work OK. I wanted to move to something a little nicer though in hopes of improving my paint job. I'm looking to spend about $50-100 and can probably look at high priced guns if I buy it off ebay. Can anyone recommend a good gun for shooting a urethane paint job. My painting experience is limited but other then guns I can get by. I don't know much about spray guns,....

Thanks for the help,

Dan

50-100 is a hard find.
If you moved up the scale to say 150 you could buy several good cheap guns.
Shrape makes a good gun with the cobalt priced at 150 range NEW.
Some ebay wonders would include some SATA's.
If you come across a NR90 or NR95, those are good guns. New those guns ran in the 400 range.
An old school gun would be Binks 7

One Sata that I dont like because it has a small spray pattern is the LM2000 guns. I own two of those are they are nothing but primer guns, I WOULDNT use it for a topcoat.

Nesco makes a nice cheap gun in the 150 range. They are(some) patterned off the NR90 Sata which can lay down nice coat of paint graemlins/thumbsup.gif
My local body shop supplier carries Nesco. www.arnoldmotorsupply.com (http://www.arnoldmotorsupply.com)
Another would be www.keystone-auto.com (http://www.keystone-auto.com) they are a supply chain which sells all sorts of supplies from masking paper to PPG paint.
