Spoke with AutoGear 2 weeks ago and they are still on track for a spring / summer 2007 release. The final drawings on the gears were released. Case and shifter issues have been resolved. Price is still at $2400 but all the additional manufacturing to fix the 5 speed problems might run the price up.

I'm still waiting..

With gas at $3 a gallon think of the savings of shifting into 5th..;)

Is this the M22 version or are they doing an M20 or 21? I guess the cases will be bigger but still fit our tunnels without cutting a large hole like the Tremec needs.

Just the M22 will be done in the 5 speed, and the M22W.

Good point!

Please remember that price has the shifter in it, not something you need to purchase extra. I think where ever the price ends up it won't make a difference to those of use, me included, who wish to maintain the near perfect floor pan of a rust free car:)

But that's just me.

I hope it does not go much higher!!!!!!!!
