ok guys, i have decided to do something.. a little give back kinda thing.. we are going to have a car show benefitting families with special needs children. this show will be in garland october 7 at Bajio's mexican grill on broadway and centerville. if this first show does well.. i will be hosting one every other month at this same location. we will be finding/choosing a family with a special needs child to raise money for and give to them.
as most that know me know, i have a special needs daughter and let me tell you, life is tough. my wife and i are aggresive people and want to do a little for some of these families that have to go through the struggles we have had to go though. the owner and the employees of Bajio's are all great people and will be helping with this... as i get things together, i will post up on another thread.... i am mostly looking to have this first show to be huge.
here is what i have so far..
early registration will start labor day weekend and through the month of september.
with all early registrations there will be a $5.00 gift certificate given and a free meal with each $12.50 early registration
with any group/club there will be a discount as a group...$10.00 each
group/club of 15 or more will only have to pay $150 for the whole group/club for early registration
so with the early registration, you get one free meal,a $5 gift certificate that can be used at the show, and as a group/club your registration will be evern less. week of show registration will be $15.00 and you still get your one free meal.

question, kinda rude, but...thats not the BEST area in Garland, anybody notifiing the police to step up patrols?

I'll ask about that,could be worse though-could be in the 'Cliffs.I think I'm working that weekend so probably won't show.

getting in touch with D.A.R.E. and some police officers that i know that have cars and also looks like the rowlett police will be there to show off their new race car.. it wont be a problem.. besides, that isnt that bad of an area, its rt up the street where leann rhimes was living rt before moving to nashville.. its an old area, but not all that bad

A little more info here.BTW-the blue IROC is the one from Pinks,he'll be there if anyone wants to discuss his behaviour,lol.

He owns Poetry Rod Shop and more than likely will take his 46 Chevy panel, that is unless his newest project is finished.

to let everyone know, i just talked to the lady at Bajio's and we now are going to have a live band and she told me more to come and she will let me know what all else she has planned as she gets things set up.
please dont miss out, this is going to be helping a family that is in bad need of financial help

btw, been to Garland and had no problems, and I was from Idaho......also cruised in deep elum, and no probs there either.

Would that be Doc with the green '71 or '72 with the Kieth Black engine?
