My whole underbody is pretty rusty, should i just take the body off of the frame, have the frame sandblasted and painted in por15...as well as the underbody, anyone know how much somthin like this would cost?

If you're looking at possibly dealing with replacing floorpans, I'd do that first before removing the body from the frame.

There are no actual holes in the floorpans, there hasnt been a ton of wear and tear, just the whole underbody, including hte chassis...is at the point where its almost covered in rust. I just thought i might get it cleaned up, and wanted to know the best ways of doing so.

I would blast the bottom as seen in this pic of my 68 and repair any rust problems. I know some will disagree but do it right, forget about POR15. Do it like a resto shop would do it. Prime it with self etching primer then top coat with satin black enamal with the correct amount of reducer and hardener. Mine came out perfect using quality name brand (Sherwin-Williams)automotive paints.

If you don't mind getting filthy and have no rotisseree than go buy a sand blaster. I bought one at the local tool discount place and used 5 bags of silica sand. The frame was pulled and the car is about 2' in the air. I spent probably 5 hours doing the floors but I only have $60 invested. I am also using the sand blaster for many other parts so it is nice to have.

Hmm, in that case, anyone know any resto shops around pittsburgh?
