I'm finally getting a chance to restore my chevelle i removed the front clip to have the fenders fixed .so i went ahead and pulled the motor etc....... to find out my core support was rusted and in bad shape. so i order a new repo. now that I'm at the point to put everything back together the core support doesn't line up right. my question is ? is it the core support or could my frame be bent? I can drill the holes to make it work so I wonder if it just the way the repo part is made ? THANKS SO MUCH !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Compare it to the one you took out.
Set them side by side, step back and look them over. Take a few measurements if you need to.
I never hear much praise about the quality of aftermarket parts.

thanks for the reply !just came in from the shop took the core support out checked it next to the old one and looks like I need to move the right mounting bracket to the right about 3/4 of an inch then everything will line up . now if I can find someone who can handle that. Thanks for your help !!!!!!

If I were you, I would return it if it's possible and get a used one and refurbish it. They're pretty easy to come by and sometimes cheaper than repro's. The repro ones are made of thinner metal than the originals and that misaligned bracket may not be the only problem you'll have with it.
