Hello everyone. This is my first Car so im trying to figure things out. I just got my coil spring on and i am ready to install the spindle. I have new upper and lower installed. My question is does the spindle go right onto the ball joints. It seems like that is the only way to go on but you would think the metal to metal contact would wear out the spindle and the ball joint arm things. Do i put grease in there? Also, how tight do i torque the nuts? Are they the same torque on the top and bottom. Thanks for any help.

No they are considered an interfearance (spelling) or machine fit. The ball joints just bolt right in. Spindle and the ball joint are tapered and as you tighten the ball joint nut it will fit. The two fittings do not move against eachother but move together, no grease. The only grease you need to put in is in the ball joints them selves. You should consult your manual as to the torque specs. Make sure you use new cotter pins also.
