: flat or satin black on trim

I'm cleaning and painting the rear molding and headlight bezels on my 69SS el camino.

What shade of black goes in the center of the two rear molding pieces. Not the blacked out panel, the center of each trim piece.

The bezels and molding seems to be flat black but the pieces are original and faded.

What do you guys use to prep before painting to remove oil, residue from cleaning trim? Any suggestions on brand of spray paint.

I used SEM trim black on the grill, extenions and bezels I roughed up the surfaces with a green scrubby then a light prime and then the SEM spray bomb trim black.
Very close to original shade.

Thanks Brett.
I had good luck with SEM.
I'll get the trim paint and try it.
