I'm trying to pick through the various software programs out there. Mr. Gasket sells one and Motion Software sells one.

Has anyone read a review or personally evaluated any of these?

i got desktop dyno and dont care for it to much,not detailed enough for very accurate power output.i also have drag strip plus,it allows much more data input for more accurate reading ,plus it offers tips and advice. the first time i used it it was within 3hp of the real dyno test i did on my car and doesnt cost 90.00 a hour.you can download it at http://rcondepts.com/dragplus/

I agree with david h. Dragstrip + has many more fields of info, and will make recommendations for better performance. It is pretty accurate on hp and quarter mile times. It even takes into consideration driver weight!
