need some in-put the chevelle
has some small rust holes in the floor
the olny spot where the mettal is weak/thin
is at the holes rest is in very good shape
and strong.i did do a search put did not find
a clear answer !

i did paint the rust with one-step
per our painter at work....was this the
right thing to do?

some one has given me 3/4 gallion of por-15
what do you think about painting the entire
floor pan ? not including the holes until
i find a fix?

and can i just paint it straight on or do
i need to get other products

thanks

I'm doing full floor pans on my chevelle right now. It sounds to me like you could just cut out the rust, and weld some small pieces of sheetmetal over the holes. Then go around the edges of the holes with seam sealer, and cover it all with POR-15. If you dont have access to a welder, you could even rivet some sheetmetal on, then go with the seam sealer and POR. The objective is to keep it sturdy and not let the rust come back. Hope this helps.
